Plans, credits and billing
Everything to do with your plan, your credits and your invoices is managed on the website (drop.ink → Your account). In the app you only look up your plan and your figures, in Settings → Plan.

Storage counts your photos (Flash, profile and the ones you send in a chat) and the versions Drop prepares of each. What a client sends you and consents do not count. You can see how much you have used on your plan's screen in the app. If you reach your plan's limit, you cannot upload more of your own photos until you free up space or move up a plan; the photos your clients send you are never refused because of your space.
Paying for the whole year gives you two months free: €200/year on Trace and €450/year on Ink.
There is no trial period: the Zero plan is how you start, and you can move to a paid plan whenever you like.
Your position in the directory does not depend on your plan.
What a credit is
Credits measure the work your agent does. A typical conversation up to closing a booking uses about 1 credit; a very long one, 2 or 3. Your plan's credits renew every month and the ones you do not use do not accumulate. The ones you buy in top-ups do not expire as long as you keep your account.
In Your account → Dashboard you see the credits you have spent today, this week and this month, alongside your activity in the same periods (new conversations and projects, and sessions), the balance you have left from your plan and from top-ups, and when your plan's credits renew.
No conversation can spend more than 5 credits a day (12 on Ink), so that a single client cannot leave you without an agent. Your credits are spent down to the last one: the agent keeps answering until the balance reaches zero.
Your figures in the app
In Settings → Plan you have, from top to bottom:
- The credits you have left, about how many conversations that is, and when your plan's credits renew.
- The credits spent on each of the last 30 days, and what you have spent today, this week and this month.
- This month against the last: conversations, projects and sessions, the same figures as the website's Dashboard. On Ink, also the deposits charged, less what you have refunded.
- Your Flash pieces, locations and storage against what your plan allows, with a warning from 80%.
- What your plan includes and what it does not.
On Ink, as well:
- Conversation to booking: of the conversations started that month in which the client wrote, how many ended in a booking you confirmed. Someone who verified their email and never wrote does not count, nor does a client you added yourself who never answered. A conversation counts in the month it started, even if it books later, so last month's figure can still rise. With no conversation in which the client wrote there is no percentage.
- Credits per conversation: what the agent cost that month, divided by the conversations in which it spent something. Summaries and Review with AI, which you ask for yourself, do not count.
Top-ups
On any plan, Zero included, in Your account → Plan, under AI credits: choose a pack and pay once by card; the invoice reaches you with your tax details (the first time we ask for them: name or company name, address and, if you wish, tax ID). The credits arrive in a few seconds.
| Top-up | Credits |
|---|---|
| €5 | 10 |
| €10 | 20 |
| €25 | 50 |
| €50 | 100 |
Every pack works out at €0.50 a credit. A top-up never comes out better than moving up a plan: what it gives you in exchange is that its credits do not expire.
Auto top-up (Trace and Ink only): turn it on in the same section, with a threshold (between 2 and 25 credits; 5 if you do not change it) and one of the packs. When you drop below the threshold it tops up by itself with your subscription's card, and we tell you about each top-up by notification and email. So that it never spends more than you want, it has a monthly cap (€50 if you do not change it): when reached, it stops topping up until the next month and we tell you. If your card fails, auto top-up turns off and we let you know; once you have checked it in Billing, turn it on again.
Low credits: the app warns you in Chats when you have fewer than 3 credits on Zero, 10 on Trace or 25 on Ink; with auto top-up on, when you drop below your threshold (and it says the top-up is on its way).
If you run out of credits
The agent hands the conversation to you with a neutral message and we notify you by notification and email. You can answer yourself without limit, or top up. The client never sees anything about credits.
Changing plan
You choose, change and cancel your plan on the Plan page of Your account.
- Moving up is immediate: Stripe shows you the new plan and what you pay today (the proportional part, with VAT) before charging it, and on confirming you receive straight away the difference in credits between the two plans for the rest of the month (it expires with the month, like the plan's). Going from monthly to yearly is also a move up.
- Moving down (or going from yearly to monthly) applies when the period you have already paid ends. If you have more pieces in your Flash than the new plan allows, you choose which stay visible; the rest are hidden and you have 30 days to move back up before they are deleted (we warn you by email 7 days and 1 day before). While there are hidden pieces you can change which ones show from Plan → Choose which pieces are shown. Deposits already charged are respected; new bookings stop asking for a deposit, and customised consent templates stop being used in new sends. Locations work the same way, with no deadline: you choose which stay, the others stop offering slots without being deleted, and their bookings are respected.
What you have already done stays: a reply to a review stays published and your summaries stay there. Your cover and your page's theme do not change. The agent's tone stops applying, but it stays saved and comes back if you move up again.
- Until the date arrives you can undo a move down or a cancellation with Keep my plan.
Invoices and payments
You pay by card through Stripe. When you subscribe we ask for your name or company name, your address and, if you wish, your tax ID, so that the invoice is in your name. Your invoices are in Your account → Dashboard: each with its date, concept, amount and status, a link to view it and its PDF, and Download all (ZIP) to get them all at once (for your accountant, for example). You change your tax details and payment method in Your account → Billing.
If a payment fails, we email you straight away and Stripe retries it for 7 days; meanwhile, update your card in Your account → Billing. If it is not resolved, you move to Zero with the same 30-day rule for your Flash.
Frequently asked questions
Why can't I pay from the app?
Drop handles all payments on the website. Open drop.ink in any browser and sign in with your account.
Can I cancel whenever I want?
Yes, from Your account → Plan. You keep your plan until the end of the paid period and then move to Zero. The credits from your top-ups stay, and on Zero you can keep buying packs.
Is there a trial period?
No. Start with the Zero plan, which does not expire, and move up when you need to.
Do prices include VAT?
No. VAT is calculated according to your country and appears itemised on the invoice.
