Account and privacy
Email and password
All of this is in Account: in the app, inside Settings; on the web, in Your account. In the app, Account also shows your email and your account's language.
- Change email: in Account, press Change email. We send a link to the new email and another to the current one; until you confirm both, you keep logging in with the current one.
- Change password: in Account, press Change password. If it has been more than a day since you last logged in, we first ask you for a code we send you by email. If you do not remember your password, use Forgot your password? on the login screen.
- The password has at least 8 characters, with letters and numbers.
- If you logged in with Google or Apple you have no Drop password; your access depends on that account.
- Log out: in Account, on this device only or with Log out on all devices, which also ends the sessions on any other browser or phone.
Notifications
In Home → Settings → Notifications you choose which alerts you receive, in two sections with a switch per type. They are saved together with Save.
App, the iPhone notifications: Messages (a client writes in a chat with the AI switched off, or the assistant tells you about something only you should read, such as what they say about their health), Handovers (the assistant hands a conversation to you), Safety handovers (it hands it over for the client's health or safety), Pauses for a grave message (the AI pauses at the first threat or anything serious), Images withheld or blurred (by moderation), Bookings (a slot set aside, a cancellation or a request to move a booking), Session reminders (48 and 24 hours before), Many new chats (many in one day without any appointment, which may be spending your credits), Credits (running low, an auto top-up made, the monthly cap reached or auto top-up switched off; if they run out, the handover alerts you) and Hidden items (the ones hidden by a move to a lower plan, before they are deleted). All of them come switched on. The notification says who and what happened, never the text of the message, and tapping it opens the conversation, the booking or, for the credits and hidden items alerts, your plan. If iOS has Drop's notifications switched off, the screen tells you and takes you to iOS Settings. When you log out on a device it stops receiving alerts; with Log out on all devices, none of them receive alerts until you log in again.
Email, the emails we send you: Bookings (created, confirmed, canceled or rescheduled), Deposits (paid or refunded), Credits (running low or out, an auto top-up made, the monthly cap reached or auto top-up switched off), Hidden items (the ones hidden by a move to a lower plan, before they are deleted) and New message (a client writes and the agent is not going to answer). All of them come switched on except New message, which you already get as a notification; if you switch it on, we email you at most once an hour per conversation, without the text of the message. Your account emails (verification, password, email change, deletion) and billing emails are not in the list: you always receive them.
Language
The app and the web are in Spanish and English. The agent answers each client in their language, regardless of yours.
Exporting your data
You can download a copy of your data from the web: in Your account, press Export my data. It is also on the Delete account step and, if you already asked for the deletion, on the screen to restore your account, until the day it is deleted.
- We prepare a ZIP in a few minutes and email you when it is ready. You download it with Download ZIP, signed in to your account, for 7 days; after that we delete it.
- It has your projects, clients, conversations with their messages, bookings, reviews, your profile and your Flash, and, as PDFs, your Drop invoices and your signed consents. The data is JSON, and the main tables are also CSV, to open in a spreadsheet. Pictures are not in the ZIP.
- You can ask for one export an hour.
Deleting your account
You can do it from the app or from the web: in Account, press Delete account and confirm with Yes, delete my account. When you request it:
- Your page stops being available and your agent switches off immediately. We send you an email with the date on which everything will be deleted.
- For 14 days you can restore the account: when you log in you will see Your account is pending deletion with the date and the Restore button. Two days before that date we remind you by email.
- After the 14 days, everything is permanently deleted: profile, Flash, conversations, clients, projects, bookings, reviews and photos. It cannot be recovered, and your handle stays reserved for 90 days so nobody can impersonate you.
Your clients' data
Your clients entrust their data to you through Drop. We store it on servers in the European Union, only for what the two of you need (the conversation, the project and the appointments), and we never use it for anything else or share it with other artists.
To answer and to summarize, the agent sends the conversation to artificial intelligence providers that process it in the United States. They use it to write the reply, not to train their models. Which providers they are and where each one processes the data will be detailed in the privacy policy once it has its final text; today it is a provisional template.
A client can ask for a copy of their data or its deletion by writing to us from the email they verified their chat with. If they ask you, you can delete them from their client card (see Clients).
The agent and privacy
The agent reads the conversation to answer and summarize it; it does not learn from your clients or share anything between artists. Every chat shows a permanent notice that the person is talking to an AI.
Frequently asked questions
Where is my data?
It is stored on servers in the European Union. What the agent reads to answer is processed by artificial intelligence providers in the United States (see Your clients' data). The privacy policy is at drop.ink/en/legal/privacy (for now, a draft pending legal review), next to the list of providers at drop.ink/en/legal/subprocessors, and in the app, under Settings → Legal, together with the legal notice, the artist and client terms, the cookies, the sub-processors and the use of AI.
What happens to my clients if I delete my account?
Their conversations and data with you are deleted along with your account. Let them know beforehand if you have appointments pending.
